It’s Annecy, it’s Pre-stage to the Award!

กลับมาอีกครั้งกับ Annecy International Animation Film Festival สัปดาห์แห่งงานเทศกาลแอนิเมชันสุดยิ่งใหญ่ในประเทศฝรั่งเศส ที่คนในวงการแอนิเมชัน ทั้งคนทำงาน คนรักแอนิเมชัน และบริษัทต่างๆ มารวมตัวกันทุกปี จนอาจพูดได้ว่า Annecy (อานน์ซี) เมืองแห่งประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานได้กลายเป็นเมืองหลวงแห่งแอนิเมชันเต็มตัวแล้ว

งาน Annecy International Animation Film Festival หรือเรียกสั้นๆ ว่า Annecy Animation Festival เริ่มจัดขึ้นครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 1960 ด้วยความตั้งใจให้เป็นพื้นที่ของชาวแอนิเมชันอย่างแท้จริง และเลือกเมือง Annecy ซึ่งเป็นเมืองพักตากอากาศติดทะเลสาบและเทือกเขาแอลป์เป็นสถานที่จัดงาน โดยแรกเริ่ม Annecy Animation Festival เป็นงานเทศกาลที่จัดขึ้นทุกๆ สองปี ก่อนจะกลายเป็นงานประจำปีนับตั้งแต่ปี 1980 เป็นต้นมา

จากตอนนั้นจนถึงตอนนี้ Annecy Animation Festival มีอายุมากกว่าหกสิบปีแล้ว และเปลี่ยนธีมไปในทุกปี ซึ่ง Annecy Animation Festival ครั้งที่ 65 นี้จัดขึ้นในธีมแอนิเมชันจากฮังการี โปสเตอร์โปรโมตปีนี้จึงโดดเด่นด้วยศิลปะผสมผสานของผ้าปักฮังการีและผ้าพิมพ์ลายของญี่ปุ่น ออกแบบโดย Raman Djafari ศิลปินมากฝีมือและนักสร้างภาพยนตร์มือฉมัง

Mifa Picth ปลดปล่อยทุกขีดจำกัดในตัวคุณ

อีกหนึ่งไฮไลต์สำคัญของงาน Annecy Animation Festival คือ Mifa Pitch เวที ‘ปล่อยของ’ ของคนทำแอนิเมชัน ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้สร้างแอนิเมชันจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกได้นำเสนอผลงานที่อยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนา พร้อมถ่ายทอดมุมมอง ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และศักยภาพในการเล่าเรื่องผ่านภาพเคลื่อนไหว เพื่อหาคอนเนกชัน อีกทั้งเงินทุนในการขับเคลื่อนและผลักดันโปรเจกต์นั้นไปสู่ความสำเร็จ

IGLOO Studio เคยได้รับคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมเวิร์กชอป International MIFA Campus Talents 2022 โดยความร่วมมือจาก TACGA และสมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพในประเทศไทย และยังได้มีโอกาสขึ้นเวที Pitching เพื่อเสนอไอเดียโปรเจกต์ออริจินัลสำหรับเด็ก “The Tiny Mighty” เป็นคอนเทนต์เกี่ยวกับเหล่าเด็กๆ ผู้พิทักษ์ศิลปะที่ส่งเสริมความมั่นใจและพลังสร้างสรรค์

IGLOO Studio Steps into Annecy 2025

เป็นอีกหนึ่งปีที่ IGLOO Studio ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมหกรรมแอนิเมชันระดับโลกอย่าง Annecy Animation Festival ครั้งนี้นำทีมโดย ณัฐ วัฒนานนท์ CEO & Founder พร้อมด้วย ภิญญดา รัตนสังข์ Head of New Business และ ชญาณ์พิมพ์ วรชินาคมน์ Business Development Representative ที่พากันตะลุยงานท่ามกลางบรรยากาศคึกคักของเหล่าคนรักแอนิเมชันจากทั่วโลก

การเข้าร่วมเทศกาลระดับโลกในครั้งนี้ทำให้ IGLOO Studio มองเห็นสัญญาณการฟื้นตัวของอุตสาหกรรมที่เงียบเหงาหลังการระบาดของโควิด 19 แม้เส้นทางการฟื้นตัวอาจยังอีกยาวไกล นอกจากนี้เรายังได้เห็นการสนับสนุนวงการแอนิเมชันของรัฐบาลฝั่งยุโรป ทั้งในด้านเงินทุนและนโยบาย และอีกสิ่งที่ชัดเจนคือ ศักยภาพของแอนิเมชันไทยที่พร้อมจะก้าวสู่เวทีระดับโลก เราจึงเชื่อว่าถึงเวลาแล้วที่ทุกคนในอุตสาหกรรมจะร่วมกันผลักดันคอนเทนต์และแอนิเมชันไทยให้ไปได้ไกลกว่าที่เคย

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival is back. Every year, creators, studios, and fans from around the globe gather in the historic town of Annecy, now known as the capital of animation, to attend the biggest animation festival in the world. First held in 1960, the Annecy Festival began as a biannual event before becoming an annual tradition in 1980.

This year marks the 65th edition, spotlighting Hungarian animation. The official poster, a stunning fusion of Hungarian embroidery and Japanese art, is the work of renowned artist and filmmaker Raman Djafari.

Mifa Pitch: A Stage to Unleash Your Creative Potential

One of the most exciting highlights of the Annecy Animation Festival is the Mifa Pitch, a global stage where animation creators get the chance to showcase their in-development projects. It’s a space for sharing perspectives, creative ideas, and storytelling power through animation, while also opening doors to valuable connections and potential funding to bring these projects to life.

IGLOO Studio was honored to be selected for the International MIFA Campus Talents 2022 workshop, a collaboration between TACGA and Alliance Française de Bangkok in Thailand. We also had the opportunity to pitch our original children’s content project, “The Tiny Mighty”, a story about young guardians of the arts that encourages confidence and creativity through colorful imagination.

IGLOO Studio Steps into Annecy 2025

This year, IGLOO Studio attended the world-renowned Annecy International Animation Festival. Our team was led by Nat Yoswatananont (CEO & Founder), joined by Pinyada Ratanasungk (Head of New Business) and Chayapim Warashinakom (Business Development Representative). Together, they dived into the energetic and vibrant atmosphere of this global gathering of animation enthusiasts from all around the world.

Connecting with both new and familiar faces from the global animation community has been a truly eye-opening experience for IGLOO Studio. It gave us a glimpse of hope and clear signs of recovery for an industry that had once fallen quiet after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Though the road to full recovery may still be long, we have witnessed strong support for the animation industry from European governments, both in terms of funding and policy.

Most importantly, we have seen the clear potential of Thai animation, which is ready to shine on the world stage. Now is the time for everyone in the industry to come together and push Thai content and animation further than ever before, as IGLOO Studio continues to create high-quality works that stand out through strong visuals, artistic direction, and storytelling that resonates with audiences.
